This show was at a Student Activism Conference with Heather Booth (Genes mom) as the keynote speaker.

High Points:
GENE - David, an old student from the middle school I used to teach at happened to be there, taking an AP class! I roped him into checking out my moms speech and helping us set up and break down. His dry asides were welcome, as I hunted around the quad for a last minute way of recording my moms speech, the audio of which we then sampled during Satisfaction Baoan Oxen, creating the effect of us jamming with my mom.
RACHEL - singing on end easy hearsay because for the first time i enjoyed singing in front of people.
THOM - Jamming during Oxen and feeling free as a bird.

Low Points:
GENE - because of miscommunications and Maureen being at U of C conference ..2 until right before we went on, thinking we wouldnt be able to play the videos.
RACHEL - bf wasnt there in the beginning and i thought he was going to miss the show, but then he arrived for the last two songs.
THOM - Jamming during Oxen and realizing that the song still has two minutes to go and I feel definitely done. Looking into the audience and knowing that they know what I know...
